Isaiah 53:5 – But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
"wounded for our transgression" = healing for the spirit of man (God's love fills our spirit with compassion.)
"bruised for our iniquities" = healing for the soul of man (God's fire of Grace works in our soul both to will and to do of his good pleasure.)
"chastisement of our peace was upon him" = healing for the mind of man (God''s anointing gives governance and light of understanding to our mind.)
"with his stripes we are healed" = healing for the body of man (God's righteous and mighty supernatural deeds work in and through us to make us physically whole.)
Jesus went to the whipping post for our healing and then went to the cross for our sins.
BY HIS STRIPES WE WERE HEALED
It is more curable then other forms of lung caner, but still is often fatal.
It can be treated and if not too far advanced many of the symptoms can be improved but there is no outright cure because the damage that the asbestos particles do to the lining of the lungs is irreversible.
Research continues.
