Mesothelioma (What to exspect?)?

My Aunt was diagnosed with this about two months ago. the doctors have told our family it is inoperable. the symptoms she is having now is flluid buildup in her lungs which has to be removed about every 4 days. I wanted to know if anyone knows what to exspect from here. they will give her a kimo treatment in a few days, but I wonder if this will do any good. if anyone can tell me about how long someone with this lives once it gets to this stage. Thank you so much, any help will be greatly appreciated.

your face turns green and you pant like a dog till you die in a pool of phlegm and saliva and blood

I am sorry that your Aunt was diagnosed with mesothelioma.

Mesothelioma is a cancer, usually secondary to Asbestos exposure. if she was exposed to asbestos for long time at work, talk to attorney.

There are many law suites pending against employers.

As you mention it is inoperable, prognosis is not very good.

excessive bleeding from the uterus

It depends on what your aunt wants if she is able to state what treatment she wants. Don't hesitate to ask the doctor what he truly thinks about her prognosis if he can share that with you and if the chemo will really help. also ask if it is beneficial to have a hospice consult. if she doesn't have much time then she may want to think about comfort care and to truly think about quality of life then quantity.
