The true heroes of 9/11 (the firefighters and clean-up crew) are both campaigning against him. it should be a good indication that his leadership has major problems. if he really wants to win, shouldn't he avoid talking about that?

We know how he treated his firefighters and first responders, we know about his Police Chief and good friend under Federal indictment, we know about new York City tax payers paying for protection and chauffering his girlfriend and we know about his dealing with a Middle Eastern Emir and Kalid Sheik Mohammed from whom he made a lot of money and his law firm represented and they sheltered one of the top guys in Al Qaeda. Sorry, but Rudy doens't have a snowball's chance in H*** of being the next President. Too much baggage. he would be shredded in a General Election.

For the teens, Rudy had great national prominence long before 911. he is is the most famous prosecuter since Dewey to take on the mob and defeat them. he was instrumental in enactment of many anti-narcotics laws and anti-racketeering laws. he still must have bodyguards or he would likely be shot by the mob. he is just a vague philosophical wannabe like the others. he is the only one in the crowd with the skill, understand and experience for the job. he is the exact opposite for what you have now.
Rudi has nothing with 9/11 to talk about, although he did nothing to prevent 9/11 or has done anysthing signficant for the country about 9/11.

Rudy rode to national prominence on the strength of his supposed leadership after 9/11. as his campaign has run into trouble in other areas, he has fallen back on this, hoping people outside of new York will overlook the opposition you mention. but you're right, he can't really win either way. Expect his campaign to continue to fade as the primaries continue.

Why should we deny what happened 9/11? To hide it and pretend it didn't happen? We should continue speaking about it no matter what, to teach that pure evil exists and that we have to stop it period. Not hide under a shell like an idiotic Liberal and have a Utopia. Guliani is trying to emphasize that even when he was mayor of NYC, he cared deeply and wanted to stop this madness.
